There are three of us in the team - myself - Nadia Kirth, my Husband Theodore Kirth and our website designer Jason. Together we act in the roles of webmaster, site designer, writer, proof reader, editor, publisher, graphics and animation artist, site reviewer and analyzer, marketing specialist and traffic analyst etc. which is demanding and at the same time interesting.
This project began in late 2004. I was working full time as an Interior Designer at the time. On a fine morning at our coffee break my best friend and colleague Kristen came up with the idea of developing a site to review online dating services available.
Kristine who is a single and an “e-freak”, had tried her luck on finding a cyber date. But failed miserably because there were too many dating sites and she couldn’t figure out which one to refer to. Next she had soughted the help of review sites which again turned out to be fruitless!
Even though I laughed at the idea at the time, saying I’d rather concentrate on my Interior work and keep my money safe in the pocket than spending a fortune on a project I see nothing good about!
On a later day I just browsed the web and found out what she told me was actually right and you cannot figure out which site would provide exactly what you want. I was realised I could help people like Kristine by developing a review site for online dating services. I began my in depth research from then on!
Within a month I had visited and subscribed to hundreds of dating sites and review sites simply for research purposes. I was horrified to find what a lot of junk available on the net under the dating category. These unethical malpractices would definitely drive away the serious client who is interested in some real dating. I identified pros and cons of these dating sites and realised I could develop an informative dating review site which will give the client some quality information and help them to find the best solution.
My research further led me to some serious online dating services around the world and I would have possibly red hundreds of success stories. There were many stories of people who got abused in many ways as well. I have also noticed that Dating Online services do not have a proper publicity system in place to show the customer the better side of online dating.
I needed to address these issues and by then I had set my mind firmly on developing a real online dating review site which will give the client a balanced, educative view of Dating Online services available. At this point I managed get my ever helpful husband’s help which was invaluable! Together we researched, reviewed and listed Internet dating services we considered superior.
I have introduced some interesting features such as a gift shop where you can order a gift for your date and the bookshop to get latest romance books of your choice.
After many sleepless nights and tight deadlines, DatingSoul.com Online Dating Services Review Site became a reality! Thanks a lot Kristine for your super idea!
